This is Dandelion
Combining growing, science, art and music. With Dandelion absolutely anything goes grows.
Something different has taken root
In 2022 Dandelion inspired a nation to Sow, Grow and Share. Our creative programme started on the island of Heisgeir and spread to towns, cities and villages across Scotland. Over 589,000 people participated in events and activities, including two festivals of music and growing in Glasgow and Inverness. Working with our partners we turned unused areas of land into 12 Unexpected Gardens, gave away 80,000 edible plant plugs and worked with 468 schools. Dandelion culminated in over 500 events as part of the largest-ever creative celebration of Harvest staged across Scotland.
