Back in 1945, Peter and Flora Morrison established an experiment in off-grid rural living on the rugged and remote Hebridean island of Heisgeir, growing their own food and living sustainably off the land. Some 77 years later, we journeyed to the island with their grandson Pàdruig Morrison – crofter, musician and Dandelion team member – to start our programme and explore high-tech Cube growing alongside more traditional methods.
